Game 3: Fayetteville Force @ Trenton Steel

Got knocked in the head on a play in the first…I’m done for the day, going home.

First Quarter:

5:00 left — Nemeth finds Damon Harrison with a little screen to the left side in short yardage, and Harrison fights his way in…Camay for the PAT…14-7 game.

6:56 left — Little lobs one up down the right side into double coverage (Pollard and Clarke) and Jackson pulls it down.  Scott PAT good…Steel down 14-0 already.

7:20 left — Things not going well early…the Steel go for it on fourth down from midfield, and Nemeth comes up a yard short after getting forced out of the pocket.

10:43 left — Lamar Little finds Jay Jackson in the back left corner of the end zone on third down to the Force on top, 6-0.  Indoor football vet Derek Scott hits the PAT to make it 7-0.

13:59 left — Nemeth found Najah Pruden up the middle.  Pruden tried to make an acrobatic catch, but instead could never hold on and got leveled by Jerome Mann, who also intercepted the ball and ran it back into Steel territory.

Pre-Game: You guys know the deal from a week ago…I’ll update this as often as I can, but definitely after each scoring play.  Given that this is indoor football, that more or less means I’ll be updating after every drive, eh?

Anyway, stay tuned for updates here on the Gameday version of Titanium Times.

Got kicked in the head at some point during that play, smashed my glasses, and went home.

Ouch! Hope you’re doing ok! Does this mean you’ll be back in the pressbox from now on?
